The Encore rugged, temperature hardened C2C™ is a high-availability, full featured, broadband wireless router designed to support demanding Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and SCADA applications. The C2C’s™ secure architecture and low impact footprint make it ideal for industrial equipment found in municipalities, utilities, and manufacturing plants.

The hardened C2C™ is best in class in protecting your investment by providing the utmost in flexibility and provisioning options. With its integrated Central Office analog data modem, the C2C™ extends the life of your analog based CPE while providing a seamless migration to IP-Ethernet based equipment and services as your needs change.

As the newest member to the Encore BANDIT™ (Broadband Access Network Device for Intelligent Termination™) family, the C2C™ provides IP router, Layer-4 firewall, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and IPSec VPN (Virtual Private Network) functionality with embedded cellular modem technology. High security physical and cyber security features include Intrusion Detection Tracker™ and Ethernet Port Lock Down (ELock™).

The C2C™ can support either AC or DC power, with an optional Power Failure Alert feature, for notification of loss of site power. The C2C™ supports large scale Network Management solutions and multi-site provisioning using the Encore Configuration Server™. A C2C™ cellular router allows your equipment to function and operate with no changes to Operations Administration and Maintenance (OA&M), with the added benefits of increased data throughput and reliability.

Maximized data security utilizing SSL or IPSec (AES256, 3DES) VPN and firewall capabilities, ensures secure system data and network transmission to Network Operations Centers. With multi-host site support and seamless failover feature, the hardened C2C™ is ideal for load sharing to multiple Data Centers.

By moving to a public or private IP cellular infrastructure, users remove the dependence on copper lines that face limited services and diminishing reliability, and with increased bandwidth capacity. New IP-based functionality such as digital signage, video, and check imaging can be added in real time.
